OUR HISTORY

John Vereecke and Tammy Francoeur founded The Natural Detoxification Sauna Centre in April 2005 to deliver a revolutionary, all-natural detoxification and recovery program that could be provided in a caring, home-like environment.
    The heart of the program was daily sauna treatments, which combined with vitamin, mineral and essential oils therapy, helps remove toxins and drug residues from fatty tissues, eliminating any physical ‘memory’ of the addiction. The results have been exceptional from the beginning, as clients report cravings eased significantly or completely disappeared.
    The program expanded to include additional forms of treatment to supplement the sauna, helping people rebuild their lives, their relationships and return to normal daily activities.
    In March 2009, the program was re-launched under the name Turning Point with a Vision for the future and a Mission that makes the centre unique in Canada.

We strive to enrich the quality of life for families affected by substance abuse by delivering all-natural treatment programs that help individuals successfully recover from drug and alcohol addiction, and rebuild relationships with family, friends enabling them to return to normal day-to-day activities.
